Never before have I… read a book by Darcy Coates.
This was my first, but it definitely won’t be my last.
Sure, many people would not be caught dead in a creepy, decaying mansion that is apparently abandoned beside the animals and ghosts living there, but our main character is desperate for a job, and thanks to changing living conditions, he really doesn’t seem to have much of a choice.
What follows is, to me, a fine and entertaining book that will leave you guessing until the very nail-biting end.
I would definitely recommend reading this story, and why not keep it close until there’s a stormy evening, or a darker October night? Hope you liked this as much as I did. ;)
