this book graphic novel was quite boring. i was uninterested the entire time and i think it’s mainly the way the book flowed and how it was written. i still am going to dip into graphic novels but this one was not the best i won’t think about it again (and if i do i will have negative thoughts)

This book was fine. I adore auto-bio and enjoyed the exploration of someone else's self-discovery, but the presentation was a little lackluster, almost perfunctory, for me. Art was good - I like a good thick line. I feel like this would be a story I'd rather hear her tell me, than read about.

This book has zero depth. The story is a summary of a trip to Ireland. It touches very slightly on an individual’s personal growth. Overall the book left me wanting more.

Meh? It's autobiographical and just kind of not my thing, but people were so enthusiastic (and it's so short) that I thought I'd give it a shot. I can definitely relate to the hells of long-distance relationships.

A graphic memoir with a touch of everything, Roots is adorable, romantic, and hopeful.
Feeling a bit lost and directionless, the author decides to go to the Old World- specifically Ireland- to research her ancestry. What she finds isn't what she set out for, and the result is delightful. This is really a coming of age, finding your way as an adult kind of story.
This is a quick read with beautiful art and a lovely story. Don't miss it.
