I’m surprised not to see any content warnings for animal abuse/hurt on here. I really enjoyed this book but there are definitely a few things to watch out for in that regard.

I enjoyed reading another book in these sweet series.

One baby was born, and we are all waiting to see when the other arrives.

Always a good idea for women to have a supportive circle of friends and neighbors. And, to welcome new-comers.

Loved!!! I enjoy all her books, especially the audiobook narrated by the author! Highly recommend. You will cry and laugh out loud.

Light, quick, read it in one day. It was a sweet palate cleanser & I did not realize it was part of a series. It can easily be read as a standalone. I felt the characters had a hint of the Fannie Flagg sweetness to them (not quite as quirky and lovable as hers).

The audio narrator was too much for me. I think this is one I will need to read in print form.
