Cuatro estrellas infinitas. Voy a leer la secuela, pero no es una de mis prioridades. Quiero vivir un poco más en la felicidad completa por esta gente.

**NO MAJOR PLOT SPOILERS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS REVIEW**

So wow...throwback to my YA days. I feel like this book shows how much my reading tastes and desires have shown. For one, I definitely like more fantasy, and two, I like my spice. This book was just a cute contemporary/modern day semi love story with a touch of the mystic...Sure, there was sometime travel, but not as much I was expecting and to be frank, it seemed rather plain....The writing was alright, average, but I felt like there was alot of dead space, where there were words but not alot actually happened...I feel like this novel would have been better if it was told through dual povs, that might have made it more exciting. But as it was, it was just a semi slow burn teen romance with a few hitches in the plot. But nothing that really had my attention for long.

Ana was alright she was just a normal girl in a town who wished and longed for adventure. And when a mysterious dude shows up , she is like hmmm, and then engages and obsseses with him and the plot unfolds.I do admire her spirit for wanting to have a choice in everything, having 'free will' and not let anything or anyone take that away from her.

Bennett was...well, he could time travel. And he didnt want to care for Ana, but guess some fates are prewritten in some manner. He spent time with her..and took her places. But um...cant really say he had much of a personality, he was just kind of there. He was loyal to family I guess. Slightly funny. I dont know, this is why I think a dual pov would have been better.

Overall, this was an alright teen semi angst high school 'romance'. Remember, this is all my opinion, if you want your own, read the book.

What it's about: Anna is a teenage girl living in 1995. Bennett is a teenage boy living in 2012. After an accident with his sister, Bennett ends up stuck in 1995, looking for her. Yes, Bennett can travel through time and to different places in the world, just with a thought. It's scary, it's exciting and the outcome is fantastic - the relationship between Anna and Bennett is unlike any other.

What I thought: So. Many. Feels. So many. Holy smokes, this book was absolutely amazing. Yes, it is like a YA version of The Time Traveler's Wife, and it blew me away. This concept of time travel has been done before, but Tamara Ireland Stone somehow makes it feel new and exciting. She has even made the boy meets girl story something special, something that touches your heart. There was nothing I didn't like about the book - I loved all the characters, the twists and turns in the story, the relationship between the two main characters. With every page I turned, I feel deeper into the story, wanting it to never end.

This is a wonderful contemporary novel, mixed with a bit of science-fiction, giving us a book that I guarantee, you won't be able to put down. There may even be tears (or perhaps I'm just a hopeless romantic!)

The Good: This book makes you see things through different eyes. It will touch your heart, your mind and your soul.

The Bad: I want more Bennett and Anna!

This review is JUST for the AUDIOBOOK version.

I really tried with this. The audiobook was the only way I could get my hands on a copy of this, because my library doesn't have a copy. I made it through 3 of the 9 hours of recording, but I just can't do it anymore. A lot of the time I feel like the narrator is a computer voice, and it just isn't drawing me into the story.

I will probably...months from now...get my hands on a paperback/hardcover/e-book version of Time Between Us, and then perhaps I'll actually be able to finish the book. Honestly, I enjoy reading to listening much more anyway.

"I don't think I can go back to a life without you."
My face goes blank and I just stare at him. " What are you saying?"

"I'm saying...I'm completely in love with you. And...I'm wondering...what if I didn't leave, after all?

Loving someone from a distance is hard.
What's even harder is when distance is not the only thing that is keeping you apart.
But also TIME.

Anna was not expecting to meet the guy she saw at the track on one of her classes.
Bennett was the new boy at school and she was positive that he was the same guy she saw at the track earlier that day.
When they asked Bennett, he denies he was ever at the track and that he has not seen Anna before.
After that incident, Bennett started to distance himself from Anna.
Anna always wondered what she did to Bennett to make him act that way towards her.
During one of Anna's shift at their bookstore, a robber came in and threatened to hurt her if she doesn't give the stores earnings but out of the blue Bennett grabs her and the next minute they were at the park.
Bennett confessed that he was a time traveller looking for his sister and that he was from the year 2012.
Even though they both know that Bennett could not stay, they developed feelings for each other.
Aside from his ability to time travel, Bennett was still keeping something from Anna.
A secret that might change both their futures forever.

Time Between Us is a sweet memorable story about two teenager who fell in love in the most unusual circumstance. It was simple but sincere. The plot was simple and easy to follow but the twist in the end is what really caught me. I was expecting a sad, miserable ending probably like the Time Traveler's wife but I was happy that it didn't end that way.

I honestly loved the cover of this book. Just looking at the cover and without even reading the synopsis I would have picked this book up and read it. That is the power of a good cover. Sometimes it backfires though because sometimes good covers don't have good contents but this was not one of them.

Anna was one of those characters you'll love dearly. Of course, there are times when I was mad at her for forcing Bennett to do some things he doesn't want to do but honestly in the end appreciating her for what she has done. I like Anna because she thinks and she wasn't the typical girl who gets depressed because the guy leaves but she wasn't like that. I appreciate her being the strong girl that she was.

Bennett. I loved Bennett. Don't you just love the name Bennett? I surely do and when you read about him you'll see why. I read a lot of reviews mentioning that this book was kind of Twilight-ish but I couldn't really see that. Bennett was nothing like Edward. I like Edward too but no he wasn't as possessive and overprotective as Edward. Bennett was the type of guy you'll like not because he is smoking hot like aheemm Daemon but because he was sweet and thoughtful and yeah cute.

The additional characters like Emma and Justin were good additions to the story. I kind of felt that this book will not be as effective without their story.

I would like to say that I liked the chemistry between Anna and Bennett. For those of you expecting any hot steamy scenes from this book then I'd like to warn you that there is none of that here. There are a lot of sweet scenes though that will wish you were back in highschool. I loved the moment where Anna and Bennett were on the beach. I won't tell you which beach though. Hahaha.

I did notice some parts that confused me and hoped it was better explained. Like regarding his missing sister. It wasn't thoroughly explained as to how she just appeared and what he did to find her. Also the ending, I wasn't exactly thrilled about it either. I mean I like Happily-Ever-After endings but it just left me confused.

But still I'm going to give this book 5 stars. Why? Because this book was very well written and I'd have to say one of my favorite time-travelling book after Timeless. If you liked Time Traveller's wife, then this is it's YA Edition only way way better.

Overall it was a solid book that could hold its own against other books but it was a bit predictable in places causing a few eye rolls.

When I first heard about Time Between Us, I knew I had to read it, not because of the nice book cover, or because of who the author is, I HAD to read it because of the whole time travelling thing. Growing up I used to watch the time machine with my Nan, I read and cried reading the Time Travellers Wife and make a point to watch any television or movies relating to time travel. Most of the time I like the way it is portrayed, and a few recent books I had read, I have really enjoyed. When I finally began reading Time Between Us I fell in love with it straight away, while there is some emphasis on time travel, there is also romance, and the two blend together and work well to create a great story.

I love Anna as the protagonist, she is an average person going about her life when she stumbles upon Bennett. She enjoys running and takes parts in lots of races, and has a great friend who happens to be British (I couldn't help but put her part into a posh British accent in my head whenever she spoke and it sounded nothing like my own accent). Bennett is some mysterious new student in school and as he gets closer to Anna, he soon reveals his secrets and what exactly he is hiding. I enjoyed getting to see them slowly develop as friends then eventually more, and it was a constant when will Bennett appear or disappear, will he get found out?

Before I began reading I initially thought it would be told in two points of view, Anna's and Bennett's but it is only ever told in Anna's point of view, I would have loved to see his version of events and what he gets up to when he isn't with Anna and that is the only thing that let this book down.

Time Between Us is a must read for people wanting some romance, but also the different genre of book to read. Once I started I couldn't put it down, and in total reading time it only took me a few hours to get through. I am really looking forward to seeing what else Tamara has up her sleeves.
