Delicious time fuckery, an achingly bittersweet romance, and so much unapologetic war time violence that I genuinely had to pause and rewind the audiobook multiple times because I had missed the start of the violence.

My only complaint is that this is the second book of Pulley’s that I’ve read where she ends up killing my favorite female character in a horribly grotesque way, and I hadn’t quite forgiven her for Pepperharrow yet, so it cut deep.

Anyway, good book. Read it, but be prepared for the violence.

"I wasn't even christened properly."

Ah, no?

Comunque, libro dell'anno.
