It's getting better in this volume ganta goes to g ward and fights for the first time crow, he wins and crow loses an eye. We're starting to realize Shinto is a weapon
Still pretty good, but I have to call BS on a line about a average male human body containing only 2 litres of blood.... it's 4.7 - 6 on average..... being that Ganta is a boy he'd probably have at least 3.

As more characters and areas of the prison are introduced, the more complex and insane this story becomes. It feels like it’s lacking something and I don’t know if it’s just because the writers haven’t gone deep into the characters yet or if the world seems too convoluted. Either way, it’s been good so far. Im excited to see where it goes next as they start to unravel to mechanics of the sin powers.

So we know who the deadmen are now and Shiro is one too? All chopped up? Due to carnival corpses? Still a lot of unanswered questions but interesting. Things are rushed a bit at times.

This really is one of the strangest mangas I have read. I honestly don't know what to think of it at this point. I like parts of it but others are vague, leaving me with so many questions.
This is one tough place to survive and violence can be found around every bend (er, page)! Ganta has a lot to learn to have a chance at survival but if that is possible remains to be seen. This place is horrible and how he and others are used for entertainment. The world takes pleasure in watching these guys kill each other or die in other manners!
Shiro is by far the most intriguing character so far. I have so many questions about her. Fro why she is there to how no one else takes notice of her and she seems free to do as she pleases. Then there is the deadly area/ward G. Is the Red Man there? Who are these other new characters? Oh my head and eyes are spinning after this one, yet I am also drawn into this sick, twisted world and want to learn more.

The mysteries deepen, the story is compelling, the artwork is gorgeous. A group of fascinating new characters is introduced. So far, I'm really enjoying this series.
