Added I star because I did finish it, but I hated the main character of this book. I don't believe half the decisions she makes. Her motivations are confusing. I hated the ending of this book so much that I want to rant about it any time I see this book recommended.
Even if she doesn't want to be a neurosurgeon at the end I have a very hard time believing that anyone with that much debt would give it up entirely, especially when there's loan forgiveness programs if you go into rural medicine?? Like, go to Montana with the dude who seems to actually hate you and visa versa and practice rural medicine for three years so you don't drown in $300,000 of debt that you surely have from going to all these top tier institutions. Then breakup because you two have absolutely the worst communication.

Did not expect this book to hit as hard as it did. Not sure if it’s where I’m at in my life or what but this book had me in an absolute chokehold, and I binged in two days. This book made me irrationally emotional and I just loved it.

What an absolutely beautiful emotional rollercoaster. This book had me laughing out loud, crying, and ultimately overflowing with love. Emily Henry really outdid herself here 😍
