This little book packs a lot of info delivered in a smooth, accessible manner. It goes deep, if you go along with it, and do the directed self-reflections and assessments with each section. I did not.

Some didn’t fully interest me or apply to me, but it is a good resource in disciplines to explore. It has not, however, ignited my fire for engaging spiritual disciplines. I’m thinking that’s more a “me” thing than a “book” thing.

Reading the endnotes is as entertaining as the bulk of the material contained therein.
