Review - I still love Aurora as a character, and her and Robin as a couple. In a lot of ways they make more sense together than Aurora and Martin did, but I can't imagine Aurora and Robin together as they were in the first book. The series would end brilliantly here, but there is room to carry on the story if Harris decides to. I don't know what her plans are in that direction. The description is as vivid as ever and the storyline is well-executed.

This cozy mystery series is really delightful! Aurora Teagarden is at it again caught in the middle. And sleuthing her way to find out what happened and who did it. And also why.
What is special about the series is the character Aurora really cares about the victims and wants to get to the bottom of it. But also at the same time she gets in the cross hairs and gets in danger. Which scares me. Lol but I really do enjoy the books and I also started to watch the movie series on Hallmark mystery Channel. Which is addicting in itself! If you want a cozy mystery this is it. All you need is a cup of tea and this series! Be warned! You will get glued!

I'm very happy with the way this one ended, actually! Cliche, but whatever. I almost cried at work today. I didn't want it to be the end, but I'm okay with it. Yay for Roe!

My emotions of this series are a rollercoaster. I go from “argh another one to read, will it ever end?” to “just read it and get it over with, it’s only a short book” to “I’m loving this book, like I always do, why am I surprised?”.
There’s not much else to say about book 8 that hasn’t been said about the previous books. I think Charlaine’s writing continues to get better and Auroras journey continues onto paths I don’t expect and continues to be weaved in with standard cozy mystery fare. These books really are my guilty little pleasure.

this was fun and entertaining ! the small town community drama and interpersonal conflict definitely eclipsed the mystery but i enjoyed reading it

I like the characters. They're kind of odd. Good story. Sorry to be getting close to the end of the series.

The mystery is the weakest of the lot, I knew who did it and why, very early - way too early!
I suppose that is because Harris was focusing on giving Aurora the happy ever after stuff…
It was enjoyable because it was familiar but I’m not sad it is meant to be the last in the series.
They were worth reading; Aurora is a likable character.
