Once again the story grabbed me by the throat and would not let go. The plot and fmc (Annika) was so much better than God of Malice. Sadly Creighton was worse than Killian. I know understand why he ranks last for the Legacy of Gods boys.

hm so this was just way too long for one like definitely could’ve been at least 100 pages shorter. but my main problem was i just did not feel a connection between creighton and annika he was basically just an asshole to her the whole time and then was like never mind i love you. this wasn’t terrible but it also just wasn’t good either? i’m excited for jeremy’s book tho

I read this in August of 2023 and gave it four stars, but I just listened to the audio (March 2025) and while the audio itself was great, I questioned my four stars.
While I wouldn’t blink at an 18 year old with a 21 year old, the thought that some of the spicy content took place when Annika was 17 just bugs the crap out of me.
Also, I prefer Annika in other books. She seems more sunshine and less naive. Seeing things from her perspective really just shows her age.
