I really hope this wasn't the last volume, I love this series so much! It's magical, and adorable, and has amazing characters. I don't want it to end!

I LOVE THISSSS! The friendships, the relationships, the backstories of characters, the art. It's all fantastic! I definitely cried at the end and just want moreeee. I would have liked to see a certain relationship forming instead of having that section off page.

This volume builds up more of the magic system which was pretty vague in the first. The tone remains light and goofy but the back story of the villain gets pretty dark. The romance between Jory and Hunter felt very clunky - it’s basically insta-love. I would have liked to see a slower development of their relationship. I don’t really feel invested enough in the story to continue.
