Poetry is always a way for me to quickly read something while also giving my brain a break.
I am coming to love R.H. Sin's poetry and this book was no exception! So many entries spoke to me on a personal level and I need more!
If you are looking for some great poetry, pick up R.H. Sin!!!

I did enjoy this book and I do love me some poetry by Sin. It did seem a bit redundant towards the middle and pretty much all of the poems are geared to male/female heterosexual relationships, but that is just something you kind of have to accept that. I wouldve given it a 3 star rating but there were a handful of poems that I really really enjoyed so I decided to bump it up a little bit.
I am disappointed. I liked only few poems. Most of them start from good point but ends up short. You don’t really see what was this poem about because of that.I don’t want to call it “lazy poetry” but it is lazy unfortunately. I can see his poems have potential but they still looks like abandon. I’m gonna give another chance for another poetry book from him to understand where’s that hype is coming from. I hate it “I’m not like other guys.I’m good guy” mentality in some of the poems.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This is my first time reading r. h. sin but I’ve heard the name a lot and a co-worker has highly suggested him in the past and she hasn’t led me wrong yet in poetry suggestions. Planting Gardens in Graves is modern poetry at its best. Sin looks at both how relationships can be good but also in the ways that relationships are ugly. I appreciated the approach of not all love is great, not all love is healthy, and sometimes you can do better than what you have. Would definitely recommend to modern poetry fans,

it was a bit repetitive, but some of the poems were nicely done and had good similes and metaphors. 2.5 stars/5 stars
Actual Rating: 4.5
The poems are short with some increasing in length. The wording is not too flowery or frivolous. They can be short and packed with a lot of thought and meaning. As the first work I have read from r.h. sin, I have to say I was not disappointed.
I did feel that some poems were a bit repetitive as if he just rearranged the words to sound different, but that was not always the case. Some poems were repeats, but felt different in a way.
Personally, I did enjoy it and I would consider reading more works by r.h. sin in the future.
I received a galley from NetGalley at no cost from the author or NetGalley.
