So many repeating ideas with not enough differences between them. This could’ve been cut down greatly. I don’t like how the places the poems throughout it felt messy. I mean there’s some solid things and ideas here just done in a not very special way. I do like some basic, Instagram, sad girl poetry tho so this is just another guilty pleasure read.

This, in my opinion, may be one of the best collections of poetry R.H. Sin has put out to date, perhaps even the best. Sin's simplistic style of modern poetry is straight and to the point rather than being coated in sugary and flowery metaphors, while still packing an all-too powerful punch. Many of the works in this collection resonated with me far more than his previous works have and I would highly recommend this collection to fans of poetry&Sin as well as those just getting into poetry.

I still like his poetry because it’s quick to get through and that I can relate to them but it’s the 4th one of his poetry collection that I’m reading and I feel like it’s starting to get a little repetitive
I actually don't despise poetry, but it definitely isn't my favorite. Especially contemporary poetry. Still, I had higher hopes for this collection since R.H. Sin is a well known poet and I had previously heard of his work. There were some great poems that I really enjoyed at the beginning, but near the middle of the collection it began to get repetitive. For the most part all the poems seemed to be about the same main topic. They were over simplified and I didn't connect well with a majority of the poems even though I agree with him on almost everything. I ended up not even finishing it. The writing style and repetition just weren't for me. AT ALL.

I generally love all things RH Sin has written. He is one of the few poets that I legitimately enjoy reading.
However, that said, I feel as though he's starting to reach the upper limit of what all he can write about with this type of poetry. A lot of the poems in this collection felt like lesser repeats of what ground he has covered (in far better ways) in earlier novels.

This book is really great to flip through if you happen to be looking for an Instagram caption
I would not recommend reading from start to finish but flipping through when sad you may get something meaningful from the pages.

Overall, this collection was average compared to Sin's other works. When I read poetry, I like to be affected by it. This collection just didnt have the same weight as the others. Maybe it's because I'm not in the same mental state I was when I had read the other works.
This book appealed to me in small doses. It is a lot like the poetry that I write for myself. A lot of "trigger" topics and I don't think that puts one in a good place if you are beyond those times and start looking on these short pieces as advice. I would be interested in seeing how these type of lines would be incorporated into a novel. .
