It felt empty compared to the previous books. Lackluster writing and difficult to differentiate the pack, as well as unable to suspend disbelief at the eye-rollyness of the happenstance

This book in this series took me the longest to read and it was not because it was bad it was because it definitely dealt with some heavier topics.  I loved the individual relationships that Elliots creates with each of the guys.  I wished we saw on page more of the relationship building between Sy and Flint, that felt alittle instalovey.

It was good to see Elliott lost it and then rebuild herself. I loved that the guys supported her from afar and that they were not angry at her for pushing them away

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Elliot’s story. She remained a mystery through West & Cadence’s stories. All we knew about her going into this was she’d do anything for her friends.

As heartbreaking as it was I loved getting to learn more about her backstory. Elliot just might be the strongest FMC in this series, despite how broken and fragile she feels. Being able to admit she needs help & doing the work to get past her trauma’s is the definition of strong. 

Now let’s talk about her boys. Not only is she lucky enough to have 3 hockey players, Nixon, Flint, & Rafferty, so in love with her that they’d wait forever…but she also gets her Beta best friend Sy too. These guys would do literally anything she asks them to for just a chance at a relationship with her. 

Sinclair has a way with writing these really complex relationships, that deal with hurt & past trauma, you can’t help but feel like you’re right there with them working through the problems. I LOVED reading this one & can’t wait for whatever she comes up with next 😉
