I did enjoy this one, but wish there had been more of a connection to the emotions that the Color Monster has as that's the power of the first book. I read the first to all my K-3 last year, so this will be a good follow up this year as we can go back and talk about the emotions and then read this one. Good to talk about all the feels that might come up the first week.

Me encantan esta serie de libros. En especial es recomendable para niños pequeños, ya que les ayuda a imaginar lo que es el colegio, de manera que disminuya un posible miedo a este.
The book would be best for a child starting school. I was looking for a color story for toddlers and this just wasn't it.
A great book about the worries of going to school told through the colour monster. You could discuss with children if they notice anything about the colour monster (changing colour in different situations) and discuss what this may mean. A nice way to discuss the worries of school with the child being the brave one in the story, children could give the monster advice about enjoying school.
