Wtf. I was actually kind of enjoying this except that the romance felt stupid, but what the fuck is up with the whole Lord Fuks thing?? it feels like a bad TikTok skit and I almost let it go but the BOOK could not. It kept going and going and it was so not funny I literally don’t want to keep reading this book

It took a little for me to really get into this book. Mostly because the writing is a bit unpolished, especially at first. The naming conventions, for example, appear to be whatever comes to mind. Adverbs abound.
If you imagine it as a translated work this becomes even funnier. But the slap dash names are part of the charm. The book had me laughing with it, not at it. This is a cozy, funny, fantasy with just bit of romance that is like the perfect drink for whatever the weather is.
Will definitely keep reading.

This is a sweet, cozy read about a young witch finding his place and coming into his power. I can tell this comes out of the fanfic community, but it’s really a plus for this book. This is the first of a series, which just has volume numbers.
