This could have been a solid story, with the very adept writing of Joshua Williamson telling a story set in a possible future where Bane has long since disavowed and aggressively destroyed any known supplies of the "venom" drug he was addicted to at his infamous peak (see [b:Batman: Knightfall, Part One: Broken Bat|51078|Batman Knightfall, Part One Broken Bat|Doug Moench|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1376156963l/51078._SY75_.jpg|49853] for one of the most important Batman sagas). But the ART. IS. SO. UGLY! Seriously, I hated this art style and it made me think of what a bunch of shitty rough sketches by Frank Miller would look like if they pulled the crumpled up pages out of the rubbish bin and colored them in.

This one. This one...this one was actually cool because Bane dedicated himself to...one thing and carried it out. It does explore the dynamic of him and Batman, as well as showing us Bane is still very capable and very loyal when he commits to a cause.

This was really good. Williamson is telling a story about Bane I never expected. Out of all of the One Bad Day books I’ve read, this one is by far the best.

An okay entry, but a little incoherent.
