Outstanding book. The story is so fun and the characters are just lovable.

The second book of the Percy Jackson series is much better than the first, and I thought the first was exceptional. Another fun point of this book is how Percy and company move through the sea of monsters revisiting the classic monsters from The Odyssey.

(4.5) literally chills all over. the subtle percabeth moments... EVERYTHING. slightly slowish start which is what brought it down 0.5 stars but it was so so so good!!

Quan vaig llegir el primer no em va agradar tant com per seguir amb la saga, però ara era just el llibre que necessitava: ràpid, sense complicacions i amb l'humor d'en Percy, que em sembla super divertit. I mira, ara sí dic que continuaré amb la resta ( o almenys amb el següent), perquè ha quedat ben interessant.

I think my favourite thing about these books is how accessible they make classic greek mythology. Classics is so often a lofty subject which is excluded from the general syllabus and the stories are beautiful deserving to be passed down the generations which is exactly what these books achieve.
