Like other R.S. Grey books, I thoroughly enjoyed this one! There's something about a good rom com that I just LOVE. So far, Grey does them best! Although I don't know why, I love a good slow burning romance. The beginning was a little annoying because of how Matt was treating Bailey. I get that he's married to his job, but good god! Why fight the feelings! I understand though since he's her superior.

I love the dynamic between Bailey and Josie. I love even more how Matt fit in with them. I wish we got to read more about Bailey and Josie spending time with his family, but I guess that has its place in another book.

Overall, this was a super cute read! I think the choice to move with him made sense since that's what Bailey wanted out of her career as well, and it helped Josie see the world. I'm glad it wasn't impulsive and that she actually considered how the decision would impact her life. This would make a cute little movie! Looking forward to trying out another Grey book.

Let me just start with saying how much I appreciate the fact that the hospital romance is between a doctor and a scrub tech, not a nurse. I usually can’t stand medical romance. Working in the medical field has me rolling my eyes at the misinformation in fiction. But while this book was not perfect, it was a cute romance.

Bailey is a surgical scrub tech who starts working with the hot tempered Dr Russell. As it happens in romance novels, their bickering is the prelude to romance. It’s sweet and funny, although not as funny as other RS Grey novels. Still, her books are a treat, and if you are looking for a romantic comedy to read, hers are always stellar.

3.5ish stars. I enjoyed the hospital setting of this book, very Grey's Anatomy-ish with a surgical assistant falling for her very own McDreamy. I just wish RS Grey would not be so formulaic when it comes to her characters. You can always count on arrogant, moody heroes and flighty heroines whose attempts at humor come across as immaturity and this book is no different. Lately her books have felt like you could pluck a character out of one book, replace them with a character from a different book, and then you'd have the exact same book. I would love to see her write a heroine who knows exactly what she wants and goes for it.

We desperately need to end the "man is an asshole to woman because he's secretly sexually frustrated" trope. That said, couldn't put this down.

was very obsessed with the first 70% of the book but the conflict brought down my enjoyment level (as most romance book conflicts do) and i wanted to see more of them as a couple

Awww this was a really cute fun read. The chemistry between Bailey and Matt was off the charts, and they were very cute. I was absolutely thankful that the drama in this book was NOT another woman but them being two regular people with all the flaws that come with being human. 3 out of 5 stars.

OMG I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS! I may have grown a fetish with hot doctors because of this! I just felt so giddy reading this book and I love how Matt and Bailey's relationship blossomed. I also adore them as individuals. I love how passionate Matt is on his work as a doctor. He wasn't just a hot and handsome man but is also a smart and compassionate person. Bailey is also a beautiful and kind woman. I appreciate her passion towards work and at the same time, her dedication as a guardian to her sister, Josie. I also like how funny Josie was. She's the life of this book and she just makes me laugh all the damn time. And she's a bookworm!! What's not to like?
It is not so hard to see why Bailey and Matt ended up loving each other. They balance one another and understand one another's priorities in life. They fit together perfectly.

I swear, I will now find more books with hot doctors in it, or maybe a tv series to indulge on my new fetish 😏
