Ahhh so great to see the Lords again!!!! Loved seeing Torin get some attention! Loved Keeley, such a kick in the pants.... Don't want to say much else so as not to give anything away! But as always another great book from Ms. Showalter, can't wait for next installment, just wish the wait wasn't so long..... :(

I enjoyed this one more than the last few Lords of the Underworld books. It was nice to finally hear Torin's story.

Well, I knew Torin's female would have to have an immunity to his demon some how... I just didn't expect the way that it happened. It's kinda hilarious, yet believable I suppose. Either way, I loved every second of this book. :)

The Darkest Touch was a good, quality read by Gena Showalter.

I was not as impressed by this book as I was by all the other Lords of the Underworlds books. My favourite character was Torin and I was hoping for so much more, and sadly Gena did not meet my expectations. That not to say that this book wasn't excellent, because it was amazing, I just had higher expectations (probably because Torin was always my favourite).

The plot of the story follows smoothly along with the rest of the novels in this series. I had expected Gena to stray from the overall plot a little bit, but she followed it nicely. This book fit well into the series.

Keeleycael was not my favourite female counterpart. I found that she was rather boring, despite being built up to be a strong female lead. She was well developed, but I just felt like she didn't fit with Torin. I felt like she would have fit better with a character more like William or Paris instead of Torin. But, she was still incredible! Gena made her fit into the story well. Personally, she just wasn't the type of character I had hoped Torin would be with.

Overall, this book was good. I would definitely suggest people read this series! It continues to get better and better with each book. The series is not lacking or slowing down at all!

Four out of five stars - due to Keeleycael being a little on the boring side, and not seeming like the perfect fit for Torin (in my eyes).

Loved reading this book again, knowing what the solution was, what this book adds to the world is so great! Can't wait to continue on!

Oh, wow, such a great book, really enjoyed Torin and Keeley's story, and I'm wondering if the first take of this novel was to have Torin be with Mari, and not have her die in the beginning? Really enjoyed this book, and the wait for the next book in this universe-be it AotD or LotU-is going to be evil!

"my inability to rile you is maddening."
"i'll yell at you if it makes you feel better."
"that would be extremely helpful, thank you."
"how dare you bare your arms in public! you're damn right it make you a tease. it gives a man ideas. makes him think you're good at carrying heavy boxes - which just happens to be HIS job! its humiliating is what it is."

"you broke me, but then you put me back together."

So like every other LOTU fan, I was dying to see how Gena Showalter would overcome he gorgeous Torrin's demon, Disease and get him a girl.

Well, Ms. Gena did not disappoint!! Her genius was evident in every word written in this book. It was AMAZEBALLS!!! It’s fast paced, sexy, funny and characters that are witty, sassy and sexy as hell,. And the sex, OMG the sex…soooo HAWT! For a virgin, Torrin is one creative bastard!! Keeley had this boy so turned on that although they couldn’t really touch each other; the orgasms were still quite satisfying. You didn’t read t and feel cheated out of a good “O” at all.

Keeley and Torrin are now one of my favorite LOTU couples. They fought so hard against the attraction they felt for each ot her. Keeley wanted to hate Torrin for the part he played in Mari’s death and Torrin needed to keep his distance because of Disease. Their battles at the beginning were epic. She beat him with big old tree branches!! I LOL’d so hard during their fights.

I loved this book. It was a fun read. It grabbed me from the first page and kept me in it's grip all the way through to the end. It was as epic as their relationship. If you’re a LOTU fan and haven’t read “The Darkest Touch” yet, what are you waiting for?!? Go get a copy!!!!

This was the first LOTU book I listened to on audio. It'll probably be the last. I didn't care for the narrator, even though he wasn't the worst I've ever heard. He just didn't help me connect with the characters that I've loved so much for 11 books.

Obviously Keeley wasn't who most (including me) were hoping that Torin would end up with. But the story (and the side stories for what I assume are the next few books to come) was the usual GS brilliance.

Torin's story was pretty good. I have to say I'll be forever sad he didn't end up with the pointy eared Nix from Kresely's Cole series, a cross over would have been just amazing. Keeley was cool and all too, but I'll always be disappointed about how things turned out.

Anyway enough of my complaining. Over all the story was good. I liked the side plots going on and am especially eager to have Cameo's story continue. The main plot was a little more on again off again than I like to see, but its understandable considering how Torin's demon works that he would keep pushing Keeley away. Overall looking forward to more by Gena Showalter.

It was good, but there was way more guilt than I was looking for. Also, Torin pulling an Edward Cullen made me see red. It was fixed reasonably quickly, but still...ARGH!
