This story was really cute and short but I liked it! I wish there was more world building and kinda felt like the author just placed a bunch of characters in a fun situation.
Sweet and light, this is the second Derr book I've read where the couple spends very little time together. It toed the line of being actually cloying, but this is 100% a personal taste issue, comfort books don't really do it for me.

A very Megan Derr book, which is why I keep coming back to the author. I would have liked slightly fewer taxes and more of the main couple interacting, but otherwise the perfect read to recover from a couple of disappointing books.

Short, sweet, fluffy, and a absolute slay. We love a found family, we love lesbians, and we love a funky self-deprecating protagonist. My only gripe with this work is that I wish it was longer.
