This was a great read. It was a chance to learn more about myself and to grow. I am excited to live into the affirmations that Bishop teaches to help people reach their goals.

I was a little disappointed in this book. While it did have some good high-level assertions and ideas to reflect on as a call to action and change your life, it seemed to be more focused on shock-value phrases and sentiments rather than putting substance behind those assertions. If you’re looking for a book that goes beyond the “what” and into the “how”, then this book isn’t for you. Of all the chapters, I found chapters 2, 5, and 9 to be the most engaging and helpful with serious ideas for changing your life - recognizing that you are willing to make a change (or not willing to continue with the way things are), embracing uncertainty, and taking action rather than just thinking about it.

I just thought this was a dumb book. Hours of saying "just go do it" in different forms with the cursing supposed to perk you up.

An aggressive but inspiring message as the title implies. He gives you a good shaking and tells you that you're better than you sell yourself to be and to get your head out of your a**. Highly recommended for those of you lacking self-confidence.
