I was going to give this book 4 stars, but that scene... Nanny Ogg with the ballerinas... I had to pause the audiobook because I couldn’t stop laughing. 5 stars!

An enjoyable romp combining Discworld witches and the opera. I especially liked his take on the witches, formidable old women who mostly use their brains and only occasional cast a spell. Not as strong as his best books, but a pleasant read for anyone who likes his sense of humor.

A reread of an old favorite. Maskerade isn't my favorite of Pratchett's books or even my favorite of the Witches books but there is so much to be enjoyed here including cameos by the Night Watch and Greebo has a human.
