I've never read a graphic novel, but I just had to get this one after watching Heartstopper on Netflix. And man was it fun. And cute.
Nick is a treasure. A golden retriever. I love him. He's great.
And Charlie is just precious.

I flew through this one, I love it! Can’t wait to see how their story develops!
It was fine but since I watched the show first this just kinda paled in comparison. Not the book’s fault but it is what it is.

I have been hearing about these books EVERYWHERE! And everyone has been absolutely raving about them. Basically they follow 2 young teen boys, one of whom is already gay and out, and the other who is coming to terms with who he is and dealing with his attraction to another boy. This is probably the first graphic novel that I have read in my adult life, and I am surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The emotion that was told through the drawings, and the detail of the story was amazing.
The only reason that I am marking this down a bit is that the storyline is one that I feel like I have read or watched over and over again. It did end on a bit of a cliffhanger so I see why people are raving about the series. Overall this was very enjoyable and a very very quick read!

Good but the characters are hard to connect with. Charlie is gay and anxious (he is cute though) and nick somehow has slightly more character. However it is the first volume so I’ll just have to waist.
My biggest issue is the SA scene used to progress the romance and help make the other person look attractive helping them. I hate that trope.
