I watched the show first, so I am comparing the two. I really enjoyed the book, and the artwork, but there is something so refreshing about the show - even less cursing in the show adaptation, the relationships seem more age-appropriate with actors about the same ages as their characters, and just this overall sweetness to the entire show. I like that the animations are reminiscent of the book and the actors are so close to the author's original vision. You can see the author's stamp on the entire show. I can't wait to read the rest of the series and watch more of the show in the future.

It was cute and I enjoyed watching Charlie and Nick's relationship progress. This was fresh compared to the later books, which lost the point of the original.
