(Audiobook) I’ve watched the shows but it was interesting to get all the different family stories prior to what we know them for

I typically struggle with long audio books and I find myself getting bored, but with this I could not put it down. I was so invested in hearing all the shady business practices. The accountant on payroll, the tax write offs from donations and the amount of involvement behind the scenes. As a business nerd, I was so fascinated. I was almost disappointed when the 18hr audiobook was done.

So good. One of the best-researched books I’ve ever read. Made my blood boil page after page. Definitely worth a read and some serious ire.

An absolute must-read. The secretive family (with an almost Bond-like appetite for power and wealth) responsible for the opioid epidemic, for the surge in heroin usage and overdose deaths is confronted with all matter of sins.
And you know, the thing about opioids is that you can never go back to a time before. Once they're in your life, they take hold with a fierce grip. I have to imagine that the Sacklers finally understand that feeling.
