The book was an easy read cowboy romance that was enjoyable. I didn’t not get the seven brides for seven brothers themes that the book was advertised as having though.

Fast paced, sexy and swoony. Huckleberry Hill has it all. Hadley is such a strong FMC who makes it through heartbreak and right into the arms (literally) of sexy wrangler Declan. The spice is hot and everything I could have asked for. Emma Slate has definitely shown me she has a way with nicknames, which I loved! Perfect blend throughout the book with an excellent mix of micro tropes spattered throughout. 100% recommend this read!

What an OUTSTANDING small town romance!! Brilliantly written to rope you in and keep you wrangled.
I enjoyed every moment reading Declan and Hadley’s story.
The undeniable attraction right after they crash into each other was so exciting and amusing.
Their story is so heartwarming, heart-gripping and beautiful.
Returning to the family ranch after being dumped by her fiancé and dealing with some heartbreaking news, Hadley hadn’t planned on falling for her father’s new wrangler.
Declan, he fell for his bosses daughter regardless of the warning, and showed Hadley(Bear Snack) what a supportive and loving man would do for the women he loves.
You can’t help but love these characters. Declan and Hadley are so interesting, engaging and fascinating.
Hadley is sweet, fun and endearing and Declan is a charming, flirty and caring cowboy we all want and love.
Together they are pure country sexiness.
You will get all the FEELS from this story.
Along with the romantic and passionate aspects of Declan and Hadley’s tantalizing and enticing story I really enjoyed the family love/dynamics and friendships. Muddy is just the best kind of fun, loving and sassy grandmother…she’s a hoot!! Hadley and her twin are certainly different but they share such a strong bond and love for each other ( I look forward to Salem’s story along with Poet and Wyn’s…also Mr. Powell and Jane’s)
It was great seeing some of my favourite characters in Huckleberry (Colt and Mia)…maybe we will see more of the Tarnished Angles in these small town romances.
So if you’re looking for a small town, surprise pregnancy cowboy romance with a beautiful, emotional and captivating storyline, you will be thoroughly delighted and highly satisfied with Declan and Hadley’s REMARKABLY BREATHTAKING romance.
3.5 ⭐️
After being ditched by her ex-fiancé due to her fertility issues, Hadley heads home to Huckleberry Hill to nurse her broken heart.
Her first night there she runs into Declan (literally) and the pair instantly hit it off. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and when the tension between her and Declan finally snaps, there’s no turning back.
Huckleberry Hill is one of the fluffiest and most adorable books I’ve ever written. Declan is definitely high up on my list of book boyfriends too—and I loved how he treated Hadley.
I will say I wasn’t too keen on how insta-love this was, and could’ve done with some angst, but overall really enjoyed this!

This is an amazing story, I read it in a day, couldn't bring myself to put it down.
Hadley returns home to the ranch she loves, bringing with her a broken heart. She very quickly falls over Declan the new Wrangler and OMG the sparks ignite right there and then. These two are meant to be but Hadley is only too aware of her Father's rule about the cowboys and his daughters, hands off or lose your job. Declan falls hard but is unsure if Hadley is going to eventually go back to New York, Hadley wants to stay but has left her twin in the city and misses her, but enough to go back?
There is so much to love about this book, it is so different from the MC books we love from Emma but in all the best ways. The characters are so diverse but each so likeable, there is so much banter and wit between them all your face will ache from smiling.
In a small town where secrets are impossible to keep, Hadley and Declan find ways to be together while hiding from her Father. When they are eventually "outed" it seems they aren't the only ones keeping secrets.
There is a miniature goat to fall in love with, a great cameo appearance, heartbreak, secrets, exes that seem to always be in the wings, a nickname that will make you laugh out loud, a love that is meant to be if only Hadley can let go.
I can't find enough words to do this book justice, Emma has knocked it out of the park, it really is that fantastic. Wait until you meet Muddy, she is incredible. Don't take my word for it go grab this for yourself, you won't regret a single moment.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would! I have loved Emma’s previous books and when I heard she was writing a cowboy romance I knew it was a must read.
There are so many things that I loved about it, the nickname bear snack. Muddy was just amazing and her reaction when she caught her sneaking home! There are so many things I would be here all day mentioning them.
One of the things I always love is appearances from other series and it didn’t click straight away but I lived the brief interaction with Mia, Colt and family.
Really looking forward to the rest of this series, with that ending I was wanting it now!
Side note, weirdly second book this week I have read mentioning Seven Brides for Seven Brothers making me feel like I really need to watch it.
