Thoroughly enjoyed this sweet story of revenge. I loved the aspect of only 6-7 chapters, each told through a characters perspective and the revenge enacted on them. Wildly thankful they brought it back around to the main characters last chapter or last act if you will at the end. Well written, great pace, no dead space.

Initially, I wasn’t too sure if I was going to like this book, but the end of the first chapter I wanted to continue on. Quick book with some twisty parts but nothing too amazing.

Una buona lettura e decisamente avvincente, per quanto risenta un po' di uno stile vecchia scuola. Tutti i capitoli sono delle confessioni, quindi un discorso diretto di un personaggio narrante; ma il modo di esprimersi dei personaggi è un po' datato - vuoi per la prosa e vuoi per la traduzione.
La trama in sé è interessante, per quanto mi sia sembrata per certi versi macchiettistica o un po' sopra le righe. C'è da dire che è difficile giudicare il livello di verosimiglianza della materia trattata (crimini efferati commessi da ragazzini di tredici anni). Per quanto incredibili possano sembrare, dei casi del genere esistono, anche solo in giappone. Quindi è un argomento interessante e inerentemente difficile - chi si ricorda le proprie motivazioni a quell'età, gli sbalzi d'umore, le paturnie? E chi è in grado di capire se le motivazioni di un baby criminale siano realistiche o meno?
In ogni caso l'ho trovato avvincente e mi ha intrattenuto, quindi un buon thriller.
