Cute story but the drama is just from lack of communication. I get that Morgan has past baggage to deal with but I just have a hard time reading when one sentence would solve their problem.

I loved this!! As soon as I learned it was a witchy, lesbian read, I picked it up. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because Morgan was being stupid halfway through. If she just didn’t act on impulse she could’ve avoided so much heartache.

I loved this book.
It was cute and cozy witchy read.
I thought the characters were very likable and relatable (besides the witch part).
This book was really easy to follow and had enough going on to keep my attention.

Not really sure how to feel about this one - rating may change in the upcoming days. My main issue is that Morgan truly was a coward, and she was selfish about it for so long that it got extremely frustrating. I also don’t feel like she had an actual growth moment where she stopped being a coward - if she confessed things or faced things, it’s bc she was forced to by circumstances or the people around her, not bc she made a decision. So I don’t feel like she had all that much character growth. On the other hand, Rory was awesome and I loved her SO much. And their makeup scene was done well enough that I enjoyed it. But RORY made it happen, not Morgan. So. Iffy on my thoughts on this.

A fun and easy read!
Personally, I would've liked it better if the whole story had taken place in the cozy witchy small town instead of the festival. But all in all it was an enjoyable read and exactly what I needed to prevent a reading slump!
If you enjoy lighthearted witchy queer romance, this is definitely for you.
