I would definitely read from this author again, I liked the flow of the story and the magical world where witches are living along side nonmagic users. I liked how smoothly the fake dating trope morphed into how the character really felt about each other, but my main issue was the MC. We are in her head and while the theme of the book is both characters struggles with confidence and outside pressure causing insecurities being in the MCs head was exhausting. She is fun and a bit awkward but can throw down words to protect her friends when they need it, but then EVERYTHING was about how they are an idiot, an asshole, such a fuck up etc when if they had just been honest with the other character it could have solved most of the problems.
