This book had a good premise, but considering the author wanted to be considerate of bodily autonomy, she went about it in completely the wrong way. You can’t just ignore and hold off on telling someone that you accidentally gave them a love potion and believe that’s the least traumatic way to go about the situation.

There were some cute moments, but lying about the love potion and Morgan’s constant self deprecation ruined the book for me.

it just made sense to read this one on halloween (while i listened to my neighbor sing “lover” to himself, loudly, BADLY, over and over and over… 🫨) but tbh it was not a good read 🫢

i wanted to love it, and it had good bones (fake dating! sapphic love! love potions! magical witches!), but the plot was so slow and felt so forced? i just really couldn’t get into it and felt like the characters really never clicked or had chemistry (lol) so sadly, it was a ⭐️⭐️ read for me.
