I know, I know, it appears that I rushed through this volume rather quickly after completing the sixth installment in the series. But can you blame me when the newest addition to the plot, and one of the bigger challenges the LTF will face has blossomed?

The seventh volume begins to poke and prod at just how hypocritical and closed minded the LTF can be in their mission to prevent censorship. Their intentions are good, but when do they appear to be as zealous as those who wish to ban or burn books? When does their vision and enthusiasm cause a disastrous influence and foundation of their cause?

This volume also contains situations where our characters are challenged in such a way that their LTF training could hardly prepare them for. Suspicion is a dangerous poison, and unfortunately it is spreading throughout the LTF, the library, and even the families of various leads with dire consequences.

I am glad that I will have to wait a little bit longer to start the eighth volume in Yumi's series, given that the events to come in that volume (and the ones that follow it) will require patience not only from the characters but the reader themselves too.

Raise your hand if this volume made you want to kiss Tezuka in a platonic fashion. (Or non-platonic; he's a good looking guy, I'd understand) So much affection for him right now, I'm a sucker for family related angst. Stop sucking Satoshi! Look at how you're hurting your baby brother, this is unacceptable.

This volume goes more into library politics; touching on the eternal negative reviews debate and partisan politics and scapegoating. I liked it! Iku's having a hard time because of the second of those two things but I'm sure she'll pull through. 4 stars

I am REALLY INVESTED in this plot arc. Evil brother? "You chose to get offended" jerk face coworker? WORKPLACE INQUIRY? EVIL BROTHER?

Somehow I skipped over this volume, so I read it after reading Vol 8. It was fun getting back into the series again; I have up until vol 10 loaded on my kindle and ready to go.
