Spoiler alert!!

Right from the start: I didn't like him being horny for her since meeting, especially when we look at how they met and I especially didn't like their super unneccessary breakup thing? I mean okay it was a break thingy but I don't know. Taking time is good but yeah talking and listening would also be good...

ANYWAYS.

Short collection of my thoughts about this:
I loved this book and them and there were so many cute moments and besides one or two disliked elements everything was so great and they are probably my favourite couple out of all of them.

Ranking of them all:
Santi & Chloe
Noah & Maya
Jax & Elena
Liam & Sophie
Even though Jax, Liam, Elena and Sophie are basically sharing third place.

Santiago's accident was uncalled for, when fake dating was mentioned as one of this book's plot, I didn't imagine THIS.
I thought Santi would live his life and Chloe would just meet him randomly, not knowing him was to be expected, and be like "please be my fake date, I need someone when meeting my dad" I don't know anything but what happened was what I thought would happen. But I am positively surprised to find this plot and story.

Him having to deal with losing a limb and putting his dreams on ice - even if temporarily. I really didn't know what to expect how he will come back. What I didn't like is how they - his family and friends - on one side always looked at him and talked to him like he is made out of glass but  at the same time were so pushy about him going back. Understandably, he was afraid of going back, questioned the possibility and was traumatised by what happened and yes it's fiction but from real life experience we all know how the public handles situations like these.
Ah what I also disliked was his "I would only destroy her" lines, it were few and honestly one could easily forget about them how rare they were and there were no situations that were evident to tell how he is bad for anyone. But then again being in that depressed, dark hole can make you feel like people could only be dragged down, if they get close to you and that can feel like you could only destroy them.
No matter what he still was a great uncle and he still did his best as being as humane and nice as possible as one can be, being in that dark hole.

Chloe was great as well, her story was tragic and she still made the best out of her life, being an absolutely great and strong character and good. I wish her storyline would have been a little more important and present, as we get to know that the mother is horrendous and like a bad flu you can't shake but there were two incidents and she was rather easily gotten rid off. Not that I would want Chloe to go through more hardships but getting Anne off of her back was rather easy.
Anyways, Chloe is the sweetest, I liked her cross-stitching hobby and that she made a career off of it as soon as she could afford it and I especially loved Santiago's support.
I also truly wished for her to get that realtionship with her father that she more than deserved, him being dead and her only getting a good uncle is, I mean better than nothing but come on. Get her at least one parent that she deserves.

Them having somewhat insta-attraction but still that kind of slow burn, especially with getting [more] intimate - I loved it. I wish they wouldn’t have answered sad situations with making out but it was okay and I mean I knew there would be smut and I knew it would be not just one scene and it was still okay and well written sooo, rating the smut seperately from the rest it would get a 4ish out of 5 because again I just don't like sex being the answer to everything and like I wrote in the review to one of the last books, they could also be intimate with just cuddling and maybe kissing.

They got each other out of the darkness that loomed over a good part of their life. And I especially loved that they unconditionally supported each other, were okay with each other's help and on the top still wanted to do this for themselves to be better and have a better quality of life and I think I died a little when in the end Santi was like "I did it for me but now I am also doing it for them", something along these lines.

Also all of their children??? Like all the pair's children are so damn great, cute and beautiful?? The possibility of them getting their own books? I am already so excited for them and honestly hate having to wait. I can already think of a few plot possibilities and if Stella and Marko aren't endgame I am going to lose it.
I think I never wanted a 2nd gen series so much and never was so excited for the possibility like - I don't even know if or when it would happen.

I hope I got it all covered, maybe I should try to note my thoughts and collect them and THEN write a review... but where would be the fun in that?
