2.5 stars. Meh. When it comes to hockey romance, Meghan Quinn is the best. This book was ok; it was a fun way to pass the time. There were SO MANY dropped plots and sub plots throughout this book. I kept waiting for things to be resolved, but they never were. I was kind of left feeling bereft of any sort of satisfying conclusion. I want to give the two MCs chapstick for how frequently they lick their lips or bite their lip. Was I happy I read this? Meh. Would I recommend it? Meh. Just a whole lot of "meh," for me.

Initially, I was a little unimpressed since it starts with them meeting and having truckloads of chemistry but FC has rules that send them separate ways. And then next day, they're in the same college and share a class? - convenient but unbelievable. But once the background is set, the plot took off and I was hooked to both. Jax was determined and obsessed *heart eyes* and Sidney was inspirational with her strength to prioritize herself and her dreams. It almost seemed impossible to get a satisfying ending but I loved how it all wrapped up.
