I didn't like how the third act conflict was resolved. The issue that was brought up, ended up being a moot point. While to me I thought it would be intriguing how they would address becoming a true partnership.

This is the first Lucy Score book that I did not really like. Well, not for the most part at least. I did enjoy the last like 30% of the book. Because I felt like before that nothing was really happening so it was a bit boring and confusing. Plus, in the beginning a lot of scenes were kinda cringy and taken to the extreme and not in a good way.
I did like the characters growth though and I liked their relationship, sort of.
