i used an audio book while reading or i would have just never properly understood what was happening, did make things more enjoyable tho. the book was slow at times but oh my when it wasn’t i got really into it and was heavily invested in these characters. there were plot point i just did not care about at all.
the whole thing about lydia and wickham omg i did not care. even thought it did add to the development of elizabeth and darcy. i just really wanted to move past them.
when it wasn’t focusing darcy and elizabeth i just really wanted it to go back to them. omg chapter 43 😩😩

i have to be honest i like the movie better 🤭

favourite quote:

“I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.” - mr Darcy to elizabeth

TRIGER WARNING: Misogyny (characteristic to the time period)

Eu gostei MUITO do livro.

It was okay. Elizabeth at the beginning of the book was amazing, then she changes, loses her backbone and it is gone.
