This is one of my favourite series. I love the characters, the idea and the writing style. Everything is very well thought out, with mystery after mystery unfolding. I was recommended it by my brother, and I genially pass on that recommendation!!!

Okay so Time Travel. Who doesnt like it? This was intense! Like i read it so fast i was wondering why it is so small. The idea was very premising and executed wonderfully. Liam was so smart same with Madi, sadly i feel that Sal was not that necessary....

Liam and Bob were the time travelers, Madi was the computer expert and Sal was the one who was supposed to find if there was a change in time. The way it was described though, Madi could feel the change as well so I'm not sure if Sal was needed. Maybe she has a bigger part in the rest of the books.

I loved how fast it flowed, great description and lovable characters, who still dont feel like a team. If only we could see them bonding through speaking. Sadly there was none of that, but its okay we still have many books to go.

Spoilersss

I also want to see how Madi will respond to the new challenges as a captain now that Foster is gone. Hope she does well and tell Liam about his future. Also Bob😭

I really love these time travel type novels, and this one is a series! Score! I really liked this for the most part. I loved the characters and the relationships they built, even with their support unit, i.e. robot. However, I had a hard time believing the change to history as a result of interference in time. The first change in history was definitely believable, but the second had me slightly incredulous. Otherwise I loved this story, and want to read the next ones in the series.

The story in itself was good. The whole idea of time travelling is excellent. But I didn't grow particularly attached to the characters, though Bob the clone and Sal the little girl are cute.
I think that the main problem of this book is the writing and the rhythm. It was long and repetitive and I believe it would have been a lot better if it had been imagined and written as short episodes. Anyway, I'm glad to be done with it.

Ages 10+ (violence)

A whiz-bang adventure story about three time traveling teens (along with their mentor, Foster, and their cyborg buddy Bob). They've been plucked from certain death in their own eras, and now they have to prevent other potential time travelers from changing the past...and the future.

Give it to preteens and young teens who like Haddix's The Missing or Grant's Gone series, or to those who say "give me a book that I can't put down."

Sequels forthcoming.

I say yet again, I wish GR had half stars. This was 3.5 stars, it was a really fun and enjoyable book. Definitely engaging with good characters. Looking forward to more soon.
