Very intense book of Holocaust Fantasy. The best story, in my opinion, is "Transporting in Winesburg." In my thesis, "Rendering the Holocaust through Fantasy," Dann was one of the authors I discussed. (My thesis is mentioned in a footnote in the intro to this anthology, so of course I feel a personal connection to the book. )
