Why have I not read this sooner!
It's been sat, downloaded on my kindle for years and at the start of this year I decided it was going on my 2025 tbr list. Then the latest Goodreads challenges came out and I saw this was on it and decided now was the time. It's so good! Nothing like any fantasy book I've read before. I love that it's based on the legend of King Arthur and the knights of the round table. I love Brew and Sel, and Nick. I can't wait to get stuck into book 2 to find out what happens next!

Okayyy I wasn’t expecting different magic systems or for them to come together but it was done so well?? Low key felt confused by some of the world building explanations but that’s honestly a MEEEE problem.
I fear I need more of Selwyn and idk why but I simply don’t trust Nick even at the end?? Also Deonn does great job of including so much diversity and a very real representation of grief via our FMC. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series!
