Finally read it! Why it took so long I have no clue! This is a rating based on vibes okay, so dont come for me! But I was so happy to get the conclusion of this story! As much as I LOVE duologies, I sorta wished this was a trilogy! I just felt like we needed more time with some of the sub plots! Gideon Sharpe...sir.. that is all.

The tension in this book ahh I wanted to squeeze my Kindle! The amount of back and forth with Rune and Gideon was crazy! Kristen truly made this be enemies-lovers. The build up between them was amazing and I loved the dual POV. It let us know exactly how the other was feeling and I just wanted to reach through the page and shake them!! How did they not see that they are end game?
Kristen wove an amazing story and I truly didn't know if they would ever get together. Rune was so wishy washy this book and I wish she could have shown off her new powers more. I wanted more of a bad ass.
