I love this little duology with my whole entire heart. Gideon Sharpe, the man that you are!!
Truly though, I loved how this story wrapped up. Every moment was full of anticipation and I was on the edge of my seat. I see people saying it's predictable and I cannot disagree more. I loved all the twists and turns. Gideon and Rune both grew so much as individuals and together and I loved witnessing that growth so much.
I just have no words haha I love this book and this author and I will devour anything she writes!!!

i really enjoyed this one - it wasn’t as good as the first but I think it lived up to it
There was a plot twist at the end that I wasn’t expecting which makes sense now that I look back on the hints but I just completely missed them
Rune and Gideon had a bit of an odd dynamic at the start of this one - it was very much push and pull but also obvious they both still loved each other to everyone but themselves
all in all good end to the series, glad it was only two though because it was a good pace.

haven’t throughly enjoyed a romantasy like this in a hot minute. I loved the dynamic between Rune and Gideon, also really appreciated them as individuals and their back stories. However I found the pacing to be a bit off, at first it was really focused on the romance then the last 20% was really condensed with the plot and maybe a bit rushed aswell. it was also quite predictable and nothing necessarily shocked me but nonetheless had a spectacularly fun time 😛😛
I loved how this series finished. Overall a great series with tons of angst.
