A monstrous tale perfect for halloween!
Mona is a sweet girl that wants to enjoy Halloween, but the world has different plans and now the outside is filled up with monstrous creatures that kill. Mona (and her unlikely squad) will have to find the way to return the balance of things.
With an interesting black and white illustration style, Abby Howard shows the reader how the world can become a nightmare with quite graphic killing scenes that will place this novel as a great adult story tale adventure.
A great addition to the creepy story lovers!

A great read! The artwork is fantastic, and I felt so attached to each and every character -- even the ones I'm not supposed to like. Everyone is so fleshed out and given such life, with unique characteristics and motivations.
I greatly appreciated the gender neutrality in the story, too. Not only is there a non-binary character (a parent, no less!), but gender seems to be fluid and unimportant in the story's universe, which is a really nice change of pace. I hope to see more of that attitude in future works, as well as just in books in general.

absolutely de-fucking-lightful!!! I think I'm actually going to buy this. only flaws - too heavy and hurt my delicate wrists haha...also, I don't know what type of paper/inks this was printed on, but it was pretty fragrant...smelled good at first but then gave me a headache...none of this has to do with the story/art so JUST GO READ IT ALREADY.
