This volume is full of ableism, transphobia and homophobia that only Brian K Vaughan could provide. At this point, I'm still mainly reading for Fiona Staples' art. It's fabulous even though Vaughan's writing is gleefully hurtful.
Graphic: Ableism and Transphobia
Minor: Homophobia

I believe this volume of issues acts simply as a transitional period in Saga. It feels very procedural and I wasn't very excited with the time jump that occurs regarding the Markos/Alana plot, as Hazel is now much older.
I applause these issues their for their twist of surprises, like the return of The Will and Prince Robot IV. Their inclusion seems to unite the universe and make it feel complete instead of totally focusing on Markos and Alana.
Rating Update 4/6/19- 3 stars to 2 stars. Much of the novel is with The Will tracking down Prince Robot IV and Alana and Markos trying to find Hazel. Both plots were sluggish for me.
Update 24 June 2019
With the adoption of my new rating system, a two star rating is befitting. The original review and rating update from April 6, 2019, conform to the new rating system. Having read the synopsis again, I cannot recall anything significant that would lift the volume to a three star rating.
