I’ve loved Nico from the moment we first meet him and I was so excited when I realized he was getting his own book!
Him and August work so well together and I love their chemistry and the way they fight for each other!
This was so so good!

Loved this. Yes the initial premise for their fake relationship was a bit unlikely but this is romantic fiction and I'm willing to embrace an improbable set up when it comes with the pay off of such a gorgeous romance.
I absoluely adored both MCs. August's steadiness and Nico's ability to live life in the moment, and how they tempered the worst of each other.
The author doesn't shy away from the impact of Nico's condition on both himself and others. Recovery is slow and painful and that is reflected here.
Highly recommended

One innocent little comment
Got to love poor Auggie … always hard when it’s one MC who suffers the catastrophic consequences of choices made in the moment.
All he wanted was a little information and one innocent little comment got him in a hell of lot of hot water.
Does he get his happily ever after with Nico…. It’s debatable. Auggie’s certainly showing some resilience and an ability to pivot career wise.
Nico of course is true to his faith in everything always works out for him.. a little suffering (although no one would wish that on him or anyone else) helped his growth thank goodness. Luckily he’s all charm, care and good intentions under his public persona.
Nice read, flows well, a little bit of drama thrown in, and there’s enough happily ever after to feel good about it.

The Head Game was a wonderful and entertaining continuation of the Relationship Goals series.
I completely loved The Husband Game, the first book in the series, and I have to admit that I was a little nervous about The Head Game not being on the same level, but my worries were definitely unnecessary. Nico and August had me captured from the first chapter and I ended up loving their story.
Nico really made an impression in the first book, and I’m so happy that we got his story. He and August were so adorable together and I really liked their chemistry, the whole driving each other crazy in the beginning was really hot!
Nico and August were very much opposites, and I loved the snarky banter and playfulness between them. August totally surprised me with how protective and caring he was after Nico’s surgery, I adored the affection and comfort he provided and how Nico just soaked it up. So swoony!
Nico and August completely melted my heart, and there were just so many beautiful moments between them. There was some depth to the story and characters, and Nico’s struggles and frustrations felt realistic. The fake engagement added both some angst and humour, and I enjoyed the way it was written and implemented in the story.
The Head Game was a story full of banter, hurt / comfort, affection and love. I adored the characters and I loved to see the team again and all of their amazing banter and friendship. I’m totally in love with this series so far, and I can’t wait to see what else Brigham Vaughn has planned for this team and it’s players!
