Drake Scott is suffering from crippling nightmares and panic attacks from his time as a medic in the Iraqi war.
Rebecca is Drake's high school sweetheart who waited for him to return from Iraq and she is his lifeline during his attacks.
While I have enjoyed the M.E.D.I.C.S. series by Pandora Snow, Drake is not my favorite. I don't know enough about his nightmares or panic attacks to have empathize. I wanted to go more in depth. Rebecca also lacks the depth to make her a well rounded character. I didn't feel her struggle or frustration when dealing with Drake.
This series pulls the other medic brothers in for support. I miss the rapport between the men that was present in the other stories.
The bare bones of the story does exist but I would definitely like for the story to be filled out more. There is so much that is glossed over and it needs more. I have loved the series so far, I just want more development of the characters.
