This was my first holiday book this year and I am so glad it was one from Alexis, her books are perfection. Kate and Damon were so fun, I loved their banter. Damon comes across very grumpy and seems to be a huge boss-hole but he acts that way to hide his true feelings for Kate. Kate put Damon in his place the day she interviewed and he has had his eyes on her ever since. Damon’s growth and maturity throughout the book was beautiful to witness. They went from a relationship of hate, to fake dating which of course led to real dating.
If you are looking for a real holiday story and not just a love story that takes place during the holidays then you won’t be disappointed. There are actual holiday themed events that take place throughout the book. I love Christmas time and this just was so magical. This was another charming story by Alexis that made me laugh and smile.

4.5⭐️ if you want a short and spicy Christmas book this is for you. It’s enemies to lover and work place romance. It follows Kate and Damon, one day Kate’s car breaks down and her boss Damon is a completely ass hole and won’t let her leave work to go and get it fixed so she can go home for Christmas. Instead he goes to her family’s Christmas and fakes date her… this story was exactly check this book out.

I love how it just jumps into Kate and Damon bantering and their hate for each other is so entertaining right off the bat. I couldn’t put this down because of how good this was. Kate was sassy, fun, bad ass that would stick up for herself and wouldn’t take shit from her boss Damon to the point she would openly flip him off in the office. Damon was super bossy and mean at the beginning. I really loved Damon and how he treated Kate and heard and stuck up for her. Such a fun easy enjoyable read and pretty spicy
