I loved Kieran and Kennedy’s story. Loved reading how two intelligent men talk and flirt their way through a fantastic vacation. Loved how, in very different ways, both of them “find” themselves over the course of said vacation, separate from yet also because of their “deal.” Both of them were the type of leads I root for separately (and whose stories I stay up all night to finish….). Put them together and I’m in book-heaven.
But what I loved best? Was that every trope I was afraid I’d see didn’t happen. The broke guy didn’t let the rich guy lead on all things. The rich guy didn’t give up his passion for his work (and the broke guy didn’t ask him to). And boy, I just love when one MC calls out the other one, and when Kieran does this? Turns out Kennedy might have a thing for it too.
Adults being adults and falling in love, with some rich-people-on-holiday fluffy stuff and background corporate shenanigans thrown in to keep the pace going. Also, some great levels of steam, and not just of the sex kind. That dance? Whew.
What a great escape-read on a dreary day.

A new author to me, I enjoyed the premise of the book and love how Keiran pulls Kennedy from his shell almost and well GFY is just a fave trope of mine - or maybe I was always but didn't click silly boys!
This is a cute read, with low angst and great side characters. Some I wanted to hug and some I wanted to slap.

I adored this book. It takes a while to get into it, but when you do it's amazing, I loved the characters and the way they evolved through the book. Kennedy is all about business and doesn't really have a life away from it. All he has is one month break a year where is goes on a holiday with his group of friends and his travel companion he pays for. This time his companion is Kieran, who is desperate for the money and agrees to do it despite being straight. Even from the start of the holiday Kieran is there for Kennedy and helps him through a lot that he's going through. He helps Kennedy to get closer to his family and he starts to relax. Kieran brings out the best in Kennedy and it's amazing watching them grow closer. Kieran doesn't get confused and run away from the idea of being with a man he accepts and embraces it. Kennedy's friends are amazing and are there for him when he truly needs them. I loved their happily ever after and it's well deserved for both of them. They both make the other a better person and are so meant to be together. It was a joy reading their journey and love story.

This is a wonderful, sweet, low to no angst bi-awakening story, that shows how luck can change at the drop of .......... listening in on what amounts to be a job interview. Kieran is a not so straight as it turns out man who’s in need of the money that Kennedy is offering for a travel companion.
The characters both main and secondary in this book are well written in this dual POV story that bond quickly with Kieran on a month long vacation.
I enjoyed this book immensely, I can’t wait to read more from this new to me author.

This book is like a Cinderfella story, bisexual awakening, friends to lovers, and more all mixed up into a perfect tale of 2 men, one gay and one straight, and their journey to finding acceptance and discovering that it is possible To find love anywhere. Kieran and Kennedy’s journey tugs at your heart strings. Both have scars from previous relationships and it’s beautiful to watch them overcome those feelings of appreciation as learn to live, love, and smile again. I’m hoping the author decides to turn this into a series because I think a lot of the others have their own stories to tell. This review is an honest and unbiased reflection of my thoughts after reading an advanced readers copy of the book.

Didn’t find the narrator’s voice immersive enough.

Kieran is unemployed gentlemen working on his post graduate studies. He is sitting at a cafe working on his studies when he overhears a job interview and his interest is piqued.
Kennedy is the CEO of a security company. He has placed an job listing for a companion for the yearly vacation he takes. He has scheduled multiple interviews to be taken place in a cafe.
Kieran doesn't fully understand what the job is, but tries to convince Kennedy he is the right man for the job. The job of course is for a gay travel companion. Kieran isn't gay, but he points out that the advertisement wasn't specific and that he could still do the job.
Kennedy in the end hires him for the job. I like the premise of this story. I found the characters to be more realistic than most. I can easily see someone placing this sort of listing on a job site. Watching these two gentlemen slowly fall in love was sweet.

This is fantastic, it's definitely not one of those books with twist endings or hea paid for with tears but there's sometimes something so wonderful about two people being open and honest with each other.

I loved this. While I did feel some parts were unnecessary and I did skip them, overall I really enjoyed this story. It felt as if I was traveling myself. A very enjoyable holiday read. Kieran is wonderful, i loved him so much. And Kennedy is so hot.
