Ms. Marvel is always a delight and this was no exception with the side plot about her evil ex-crush breaking her heart and making her doubt her self-worth. I'm actually disappointed that this storyline ended so prematurely with the end of the world even though it ended splendidly. I wasn't a huge fan of the art or story with the ending one off comics with SHIELD and Spiderman but the main comics were great.

Let me start this off my saying I LOVE Ms. Marvel, Kamala is cute, funny, and refreshing. I thought this collection would be a great chance to introduce friends to the series, but wanted to read it first...
Well... sigh... its not that. It starts off ok, little introduction to Kamala, but that is ok, as the personality and art style sell a rough beginning. However, an initially interesting story devolves into a hot mess, with what I am assuming was a Marvel universe wide event that comes out of no where, makes no sense, and then isn't further explained later in the book.
This is the biggest problem with Marvel/DC comics, this universe wide events derail and confuse stories readers are invested in, and without reading a bunch of the other series they make no sense, and give NO closure.
I was hoping a collection like this would clean that up, but nope, just leaves the reader going wtf just happened, and then thinking well I guess the other parts of the story will explain it... oh wait these are just random excerpts and stories... greeeat.
If you want to start with Ms. Marvel do NOT read this, start with volume 1 No Normal and go from there, the story will be better explained, and you will get to know the character better.
What a disappointment...

Ok so this edition had 3 books in one, the main one ending in a complete cliffhanger. I loved all three, but the first one was my favorite. Keeping up with the story was kind of hard, especially since they were all different and I was reading them out of order. But I completely recommend the series if you read them in order! Kamala is such a fun character, though she is a little annoying. But I would completely recommend this!

I enjoyed this graphic novel.
This continues Kamala as she deals with having super powers while also dealing with her faith and being a teen.
I liked Kamala and how she went about all that she was dealing with.
It was a fun story and enjoyed being with the characters.
This was a good story and am looking forward to reading more.
