3.5 stars (damn you goodreads for not having half stars) but it sits floating between 3 stars and 4 stars.

what a lovely little book! there’s something about Japanese translated books that I just love so much. the way love and affection is displayed makes me so happy! and the premise of this book, it was just so great! what would I do before the coffee goes cold?? tbh I would deffos be working at this cafe, it’s so weird and wonderful and I love it. need to read the next one!!! love it 10/10

it has a cool idea with the whole time-travel thing, but all the male characters felt the same and pretty unlikable. the concept’s great, but the characters fell flat for me.

Loved this book; the characters, the story, descriptions, everything. As someone who recently broke up w/ her bf, the first story hit a bit too close to home. The following stories are all almost gut-wrenching, but it portraits how saying goodbye and losing someone can feel like.
My only problem with this book is that the translation got a little in the way, therefore, some expressions don’t sound quite right. Still, beautifully written

Really sweet little read! Very heartwarming story with a clever twist on time travel about the power of perspective. The writing style is extremely straight forward without much insight or prose, but it makes complete sense when you know this was written as a play. The content is mostly dialogue, blocking, and character/setting description, but it’s a nice way to keep the focus on the plot/story. Very nice and fresh.
