I liked it a lot but the descriptions didn't sit right w me also this book is innately abelist and every single chapter someone is popping out an ableist slur, so, kinda ruined my fun

Like basically the end of the story is like "omg??????? Disabled people deserve to live and aren't worthless????!?!!!" 

Like yay I love having disabled main characters and love interests but this was such an ableist take. It easily could've been 5 stars without the ableism, slurs, and just suspect descriptions

This is was an unrelentingly bleak story full of mostly unlikable characters, almost nothing that could be described as actual romance (plus very limited interactions between the FL and ML during the entirety of the story), and an ending that could barely even qualify as HFN due to how abrupt and open-ended it was.

I really enjoyed this author’s first book, but I honestly regret ever picking this one up.
